Run through the seasons

Immerse yourself in changing scenery and run a beautiful 5 or 10km
in each season at Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens.

What is it?

Run 10km or 5km on beautiful trails in spring, summer, autumn and / or winter.

Heritage Trail Series is set in a beautiful rural location that doesn’t normally allow running to take place, offering an exclusive and unique running experience.

Our first series is at the stunning Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens - a Grade I listed woodland and gardens offering beautiful lakes, sculptures, wildlife, vineyards and Grade II listed house complete with restaurant.

The running

The routes chosen for Heritage Trail Series at Leonardslee will be mainly off-road with the occasional road section. Underfoot, you’ll be mostly on hard packed, manicured trails making for a lovely running experience.

The Heritage Trail Series is not about serious racing or chasing PBs. Routes will be challenging but will be designed so as to explore the best parts of the venues.
