Run or walk a beautiful 10km route through the estate, stopping to enjoy four samples of Rathfinny sparkling wine along the way before finishing to enjoy delicious food and music.
A unique venue
Rathfinny Wine Estate
Established in 2010 by husband-and-wife team Mark and Sarah Driver, Rathfinny is dedicated to producing some of the world’s finest vintage sparkling wine from a single-site vineyard in Sussex, England.
Located just three miles from the sea near the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs, Rathfinny is one of the UK’s most coastal wine estates, with vines rooted in chalk soil on a perfect south-facing slope.
In addition to producing Sussex Sparkling, Rathfinny Wine Estate has become a much-loved destination for food and wine lovers, welcoming guests to stay, dine, tour, taste and shop, all in one beautiful South Downs setting.
The views will be breathtaking along the 10km route - enjoy a rare chance to run here!
The experience
How it works
Starting at 1pm, run or walk a beautiful 10km route through the Rathfinny estate and vineyards. Stop on route to enjoy four samples of their sparkling wine before finishing to enjoy delicious food and music! (If you wish to do only 5km, you will just complete one lap of the route.)
The routes will be within the Rathfinny Estate on the grass / paths around the vines. The route will be challenging in places but will explore the best parts of the venue.
Both runner and spectator tickets also include a glass of Rathfinny 2019 Classic Cuvée (after the run for participants!) and food from Crocus Paella. See more below.
Friends & family are welcome to come along to cheer you on and enjoy the live music, food offering and wines.

The wine and food
Using the traditional method and guided by a low intervention philosophy, their vintage Sussex Sparkling wines are a true expression of the terroir. Produced from hand-harvested grapes that are whole-bunch pressed and patiently matured on lees and in bottle, the wines are fresh and elegant, with a low dosage that emphasises the purity of the Rathfinny fruit.
Since its inception, sustainability has been an important part of Rathfinny’s DNA, culminating in achieving B Corp certification in 2023.
Rathfinny Wine Estate has become a much-loved destination for food and wine lovers, welcoming guests to stay, tour, taste and shop, all in one beautiful South Downs setting.
Food will be served up by the fantastic Crocus Paella with meat, seafood and vegan options after the run.
